<h1>Section 380: Filing and Disclosure Duties for Foreign Companies Establishing a Place of Business in India</h1> Section 380 mandates that every foreign company establishing a place of business in India must, within thirty days, file specified documents with the Registrar, including its constitutional documents (with English translation if needed), registered or principal office address, list of directors and secretary, details of authorised Indian resident representatives for service of process, address of its principal place of business in India, particulars of any prior Indian place of business, a declaration of non-conviction and non-debarment of directors and authorised representatives, and other prescribed information. Existing foreign companies remain bound by earlier filing obligations, and any subsequent alterations to filed documents must be reported within thirty days.
