<h1>New Companies Must File Director Declaration & Verify Office Within 180 Days Under Companies (Amendment) Act 2019 or Face Penalties.</h1> A company incorporated after the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2019, with share capital, cannot commence business or borrow unless a director files a declaration within 180 days of incorporation, confirming payment for shares by subscribers, and verifies the registered office with the Registrar. Non-compliance results in a penalty of fifty thousand rupees for the company and one thousand rupees per day for each defaulting officer, up to one lakh rupees. If no declaration is filed within 180 days, the Registrar may remove the company's name from the register if it is believed to be inactive.
