Appellate Tribunal posts require a senior judge for chair, judicial members with high court experience, and technical members with long commercial expertise. Section 411 requires the Chairperson to be or have been a Supreme Court Judge or Chief Justice of a High Court; a Judicial Member to be or have been a High Court Judge or to have five years' service as a Judicial Member of the Tribunal; and a Technical Member to possess proven ability, integrity and standing with special knowledge and at least twenty-five years' professional experience in industrial finance, industrial management, industrial reconstruction, investment and accountancy.
