of <h1>Section 307 of Companies Act, 2013, on voluntary winding up publication, removed by Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.</h1> Section 307 of the Companies Act, 2013, which dealt with the publication of resolutions for voluntary winding up, was omitted by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. Previously, it required a company that passed a resolution for voluntary winding up to advertise the resolution in the Official Gazette and a local newspaper within fourteen days. Failure to comply resulted in fines for the company and its officers, amounting to five thousand rupees for each day of non-compliance.
