of <h1>Company must share memorandum, articles and section 117(1) filings with members within seven days or face penalties</h1> Upon request by any member and subject to prescribed fees, a company must, within seven days, provide copies of its memorandum, articles of association, and all agreements and resolutions required to be filed under section 117(1), to the extent they are not already included in the memorandum or articles. Failure to comply attracts a monetary penalty on both the company and every defaulting officer, calculated at one thousand rupees for each day of continuing default, capped at a maximum of one lakh rupees per default.
