Upon application by the company or interested parties, the government may extend the time for notifying payment or satisfaction of a charge, or correct any errors. This provision ensures that such rectifications are just and do not adversely affect any rights acquired before the charge is registered. The amendment by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2019, refined these provisions.
