of <h1>Section 84 Companies Act: Notify company and Registrar of receiver or manager appointment and cessation within thirty days</h1> Section 84 of the Companies Act, 2013 mandates that any person who obtains a court order appointing a receiver or manager over a company's charged property, or who appoints such a person under a contractual power, must notify both the company and the Registrar within thirty days, enclosing the order or instrument. The Registrar, upon payment of prescribed fees, must register the particulars in the register of charges. When the receiver or manager ceases to hold office, that person must similarly notify the company and the Registrar, who must then register the cessation.
