of <h1>Producer Companies Must Maintain General Reserve Annually; Contributions Shared Based on Member Patronage Per Companies Amendment Act 2020.</h1> Every Producer Company is required to maintain a general reserve annually, in addition to any other reserves specified in its articles. If the company lacks sufficient funds to maintain these reserves, the contribution must be shared among the members based on their patronage in the company's business for that year. This provision was inserted by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2020.
