of <h1>Directors of Producer Companies liable for losses from violating Companies Act, 2013; must repay profits and damages.</h1> Directors of a Producer Company are jointly and severally liable for any loss or damage resulting from actions that contravene the Companies Act, 2013, or other applicable laws and articles. If a director profits from such contravention, the company can recover an amount equal to the profit. Similarly, if the company incurs a loss or damage due to the contravention, the director must compensate the equivalent amount. This liability is additional to any other legal liabilities imposed on directors under the Act or other laws.
