Security for investigation costs: Central Government may require up to Rs. 25,000 before appointing an inspector, refundable on prosecution. The Central Government may require an applicant to give security, not exceeding twenty-five thousand rupees as prescribed, before appointing an inspector for a company investigation to cover costs and expenses of the investigation, and such security shall be refunded if the investigation results in prosecution.
