<h1>Dissolved Company Under Section 248 Can Collect Dues and Settle Liabilities Despite Certificate Cancellation</h1> When a company is dissolved under Section 248 of the Companies Act, 2013, it ceases to operate from the date specified in the notice under sub-section (5) of that section. The company's Certificate of Incorporation is considered canceled from that date. However, the company may still function for the limited purposes of collecting dues owed to it and settling its liabilities or obligations.
