of <h1>Defining what counts as 'infrastructure' across transport, power, telecom, housing, water, and industrial projects under statutory provisions</h1> 'Infrastructural projects' or 'infrastructural facilities' is prescribed to include specified categories of projects and activities: transportation (roads, rail, ports and waterways, aviation, logistics); agriculture (storage and agro-processing-related construction and preservation/testing facilities for perishable/processed goods); water management (supply/distribution, irrigation, treatment); telecommunication (basic/cellular, domestic satellite service, trunking/broadband/internet networks); industrial, commercial and social development (real estate including industrial parks/SEZs, tourism, public markets/buildings and cultural/sports/public spaces, educational institutions and hospitals, urban development including solid waste, sanitation and sewerage); power (generation and transmission/distribution/trading networks); petroleum and natural gas (exploration/production, terminals, liquefaction/re-gasification, storage, transmission/distribution including city gas); housing (urban/rural and allied amenities); and other facilities/services (mining, technology infrastructure, utilities/components, environment/disaster/emergency services, monument preservation), with a residuary power to prescribe additional facilities, thereby determining what qualifies as 'infrastructure' for the referenced statutory provisions.
