<h1>Section 280 Companies Act 2013 gives exclusive power over all suits, claims and issues in company winding up</h1> Section 280 of the Companies Act, 2013 vests exclusive jurisdiction in the Tribunal, overriding other laws, to entertain and dispose of all matters connected with a company under winding up. This includes suits and proceedings by or against the company, claims involving the company or any of its Indian branches, applications under section 233, and all questions of priority or other legal or factual issues relating to the company's assets, business, rights, obligations, and related matters. The Tribunal's jurisdiction applies irrespective of whether such suits, claims, questions, applications, or schemes arise or are instituted before or after the winding up order.
