of <h1>Penalties for Non-Compliance with Registration of Charges Under Section 86 of the Companies Act, 2013.</h1> Section 86 of the Companies Act, 2013, addresses penalties for non-compliance with registration of charges. If a company defaults on any provisions of this chapter, it faces a penalty of five lakh rupees, and each officer in default incurs a penalty of fifty thousand rupees. Additionally, any person who wilfully provides false information or suppresses material information required under section 77 is subject to action under section 447. These provisions were amended and updated by the Companies (Amendment) Acts of 2019 and 2020.
