Companies (Amendment) Act commencement: specified provisions take effect on 9 February 2018 by government notification. Central Government, under sub section (2) of section 1 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017, appoints 09th February 2018 as the date on which specified provisions of the Act come into force. The notification enumerates individual sections and section ranges-including sections 7, 9, 14, 17, 27-29, 32, 34-35, 38, 41-45, 47-48, 50-51, 53, 63-65, 72-74, 77-79, 82, 84-85 and 90-93-thereby commencing only those listed provisions.
