Commencement flexibility: Companies Amendment Act provisions come into force on notified dates enabling staggered implementation. The Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017 is cited as such and shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, permitting different dates for different provisions and construing references to commencement as references to the coming into force of the particular provision.
