          <h1>Companies Act Amended: No Advance Special Resolution Copy to Registrar; New Privacy Proviso for Register Details Introduced.</h1> Section 94 of the principal Act is amended by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017. In sub-section (1), the requirement to provide the Registrar with a copy of the proposed special resolution in advance is removed. Additionally, a new proviso is added to sub-section (3), specifying that certain prescribed particulars of the register, index, or return shall not be available for inspection or for taking extracts or copies.
