<h1>India Enforces Companies (Amendment) Act 2017 Sections 15, 16, 75, 76 Starting August 15, 2018.</h1> The Central Government of India has designated August 15, 2018, as the effective date for the enforcement of specific sections of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017. The sections that will come into force on this date are Section 15, Section 16, Section 75, and Section 76. This notification was issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, under the authority granted by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017, and was signed by the Joint Secretary to the Government of India on July 5, 2018.
