Name reservation: Registrar may reserve a proposed company name upon application for the approved or prescribed period. The Registrar may, on the basis of information and documents furnished with an application, reserve the name for the period approved or such other period as may be prescribed; a proviso allows the Registrar to reserve the name for a longer specified period in the case of applications by existing companies.
