of <h1>Companies Act Revised: Section 62 Updated for Valuer Compliance and Shareholder Notification Methods Enhanced for Proof of Delivery</h1> Section 62 of the principal Act is amended by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017. In sub-section (1), clause (c), the phrase regarding the registered valuer is revised to include compliance with Chapter III and other prescribed conditions. Sub-section (2) is replaced to specify that notices to existing shareholders must be sent via registered post, speed post, electronic mode, courier, or any mode with proof of delivery, at least three days before the issue opens.
