of <h1>Directors Can Join Meetings via Video Conferencing If Quorum Met Physically as per Amended Section 173</h1> Section 173 of the principal Act has been amended by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017. In sub-section (2), a new proviso has been added, allowing a director to participate in a meeting via video conferencing or other audio-visual means, provided there is already a quorum through the physical presence of directors. This participation is applicable to matters specified under the first proviso.
