of <h1>Registrar of Companies jurisdictions for company registration filings under Companies Act 2013 reorganised; changes effective 16 February 2026</h1> Establishes specified Registrars of Companies and allocates their territorial jurisdictions for company registration and discharge of functions under the Companies Act, 2013. Jurisdiction is prescribed by creating separate Registrars for National Capital Territory of Delhi (two offices), Uttar Pradesh (two offices), Mumbai (two offices), and Kolkata (two offices), and by establishing Registrars for Haryana and for the Nagpur region of Maharashtra, each with defined district or State coverage; consequently, filings, registrations, and related statutory functions under the Act are to be carried out before the Registrar having jurisdiction over the company's registered office location. The notification takes effect from 16 February 2026 (as substituted).
