of <h1>Rule 128: Procedure to Extend Time for Submitting Statement of Affairs under Companies Law Explained</h1> Rule 128 of the Company Court Rules, 1959, under the Companies Law, addresses the procedure for extending the time to submit a statement of affairs as required by section 454. If an extension is needed, the individual must first apply to the Official Liquidator, who may grant an extension by issuing a written certificate, filed with the proceedings, using Form No. 59. If the Official Liquidator denies the extension, the individual can appeal to the Judge in Chambers for an extension, with notice given to the Official Liquidator.
