          <h1>Settlement of contributory list: notice and objection procedure requiring affidavit and hearing rights before court</h1> Notice summons persons named in the Official Liquidator's court-filed list of contributories to a fixed hearing for settlement of that list, stating the character, number/extent of shares or interest, amounts called up and paid up at commencement of winding-up. Included persons may object by filing and serving an affidavit on the Official Liquidator at least two days before the hearing and appear in person or by advocate; absent sufficient cause the list will be settled as filed. Notices that nonattendance is acceptable if particulars are correct, inability to pay calls is not ground for omission, and address changes must be notified by post.
