<h1>Rule 24: Petition Ads Required 14 Days Before Hearing in Gazette and Newspapers, Judge Can Waive Except for Wind-Up.</h1> Rule 24 of the Company Court Rules, 1959 mandates that a petition requiring advertisement must be published at least fourteen days before the hearing date. This advertisement should appear in one issue of the Official Gazette and in one issue each of a daily newspaper in English and a regional language circulating in the relevant State or Union Territory, unless the Judge orders otherwise. The Judge has the discretion to waive this advertisement requirement, except in the case of a petition to wind up a company.
