<h1>Liquidator or creditor can request expunging of improperly admitted proofs under Rule 176, Company Court Rules, 1959.</h1> Rule 176 of the Company Court Rules, 1959, under the Companies Law, addresses the expunging of proof. If a Liquidator believes a proof has been improperly admitted or admitted by mistake, they can apply to the Court to expunge or reduce it, with notice to the creditor involved. Additionally, any creditor or contributory can apply to the Court for expunging or reducing a proof if the Liquidator does not act, allowing the Court to issue orders deemed just.
