Proof of debt requirement: creditors must establish title or prove disputed claims under judicial notice and affidavit rules. Where a company disputes entitlement or the full amount of a debt, the company must set aside the amount as the Judge directs or, if ordered by the Judge, serve the creditor notice to attend and establish title or prove the disputed debt. Proof is by affidavit in the prescribed form, and an authorised agent may make the affidavit if the creditor is personally unable to do so.
