Payment into public account requires certified order or endorsed chalan, credit to Official Liquidator's account and notice with bank receipt. Where an order directs payment into the public account of India instead of to the Official Liquidator, the payer must produce to the bank a certified copy of the order or a payment in chalan endorsed by the Official Liquidator; the money is to be credited to the Official Liquidator's account and the payer must notify the Official Liquidator and produce the bank receipt.
