Article 319 - Prohibition as to the holding of offices by members of Commission on ceasing to be such members

Post service employment restrictions bar former commission chairmen and limit members to inter commission appointments only.

Prohibition on post office employment restricts former Public Service Commission officeholders: national commission chairmen are ineligible for further central or state public employment; state commission chairmen may move to chair or membership roles in national or other state commissions but cannot take other public employment; national commission members (non chairmen) may be appointed as national or state commission chairmen but not otherwise employed by central or state governments; state commission members (non chairmen) may be appointed to national commission chair or member roles or as state commission chairmen but are otherwise barred from public employment.
