Parliamentary power to regulate elections enables comprehensive provision for electoral rolls, delimitation, and other electoral procedures. Parliament has the power to prescribe by law the regulatory framework for elections to Parliament and State Legislatures, subject to the Constitution, including preparation of electoral rolls, delimitation of constituencies and all procedural and administrative measures necessary to secure the due constitution of the relevant House or Houses.
