        Member remuneration: Parliament may determine salaries and allowances by law; prior Constituent Assembly rates operate until law is made. Members of either House of Parliament are entitled to receive salaries and allowances which Parliament may determine by law, and until such a law is made the rates and conditions previously applicable to members of the Constituent Assembly of the Dominion of India shall continue to apply as interim allowances.
