          <h1>Omission of constitutional provision for Coorg preserves prior legislative council and revenue arrangements until parliamentary or presidential action.</h1> Article 242, concerning Coorg, was omitted by amendment. Before omission it preserved the constitution, powers and functions of the Coorg Legislative Council as they existed immediately before the Constitution until Parliament provided otherwise, and maintained existing arrangements for revenues collected in Coorg and expenses relating to Coorg until the President made other provision by order.
