          <h1>Appointment of acting Chief Justice: President may appoint another judge to perform the Chief Justice's duties when unavailable.</h1> When the office of Chief Justice is vacant or the Chief Justice is unable to perform duties, those duties shall be performed by one of the other Judges of the Court whom the President may appoint for the purpose, providing a presidentially appointed temporary substitution to ensure continuity of judicial administration.
