Election immunity for Prime Minister and Speaker limited challenges to procedures established by Parliament, barring judicial review. Special provision insulated elections to Parliament of persons who hold or are appointed to the offices of Prime Minister or Speaker of the House of the People from ordinary electoral challenge mechanisms by making such elections contestable only before an authority or body and in the manner provided by or under a law of Parliament; such law could specify grounds and procedures and its validity and decisions thereunder were not subject to judicial review.
