          <h1>Continuity of High Court Judges: provincial incumbents become State High Court judges retaining salaries and service rights.</h1> Judges holding office in Provincial High Courts immediately before commencement become Judges of the corresponding State High Court unless they elected otherwise, retaining salaries, allowances, leave and pension rights; they remain eligible for appointment as Chief Justice or Judge of other High Courts even if not citizens where permitted. Judges corresponding to Part B States similarly continue and may hold office for periods the President may determine, and the expression 'Judge' excludes acting and additional Judges.
