of <h1>AEO Status May Be Suspended or Downgraded for Non-Compliance or License Issues Under Specific Conditions</h1> The Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Programme allows for the suspension or downgrading of AEO status by the AEO Programme Manager under certain conditions. Suspension can occur if there is non-compliance with AEO criteria or if a Custodian, Custom Broker, or Warehouse Operator's basic license is suspended. For AEO importers or exporters, if a show cause notice for customs or tax law infringement is issued, their AEO status may be downgraded or suspended. Decisions are made after thorough evaluation and consultation with the jurisdictional Commissionerate, and are considered administrative actions.
