Exclusion from IGMs permitted on application and documentary proof, subject to fee and investigation requirements for amendment. Exclusion from the Import General Manifest is allowed only on application by the IGM filer with documentary evidence of short shipment and payment of the prescribed fee; reductions in packages or weight require supporting documents and an investigation that shows the excess was an error, otherwise the Manifest Clearance Section will handle the application at manifest closure. Applications affecting items noted against Bills of Entry will be dealt with by the Manifest Clearance Section if made within two months of arrival, and each vessel's IGM must include the application for Entry Inwards.
