of <h1>Gems and Jewellery EOUs can sell 10% of last year's FOB value domestically if Net Foreign Exchange is positive.</h1> Gems and Jewellery units in Export Oriented Units (EOUs) can sell up to 10% of the Free on Board (FOB) value of their previous year's exports in the Domestic Tariff Area (DTA), provided they achieve a positive Net Foreign Exchange (NFE). For sales of both plain and studded jewellery, EOUs must pay applicable duties and taxes as if the sale were from nominated agencies.
