Waiver of interest: Board may, in public interest and exceptional circumstances, waive interest on warehoused goods. The Board may, in the public interest and in circumstances of an exceptional nature, waive the whole or any part of the interest payable on warehoused goods, and may, by notification, specify classes of goods for which no interest shall be charged or for which interest shall be chargeable from the date a proper officer has made an order under section 60(1).
