Cancellation follows breach of the Act, rules or licence conditions after affording a reasonable opportunity of being heard; authorities may suspend warehouse operations during enquiry, barring deposit of new goods while Chapter provisions continue to apply to existing goods. On cancellation the licensee must, within seven days or any extended period allowed, remove warehoused goods to another warehouse or clear them for home consumption or export, with Chapter provisions remaining applicable until removal or clearance.
