          AEO certification: certificate issued with logo and activation, certificate number to be used on customs documents thereafter. Granting of AEO status results in a hard-copy Certificate of AEO Status (with an electronic copy for AEO T1), bearing an AEO logo owned by the AEO Programme Manager. Status is activated within a week of issue and the AEO Certificate number must be entered on all Customs documentation thereafter. Certificate holders should keep the Certificate secure and not disclose the Certificate number except for business purposes; the number must not be used in advertisements.
