General provisions relating to Export Promotion Schemes

Export promotion schemes: ports and authorities may permit imports and exports from notified or non-notified locations under conditions.

General provisions permit imports and exports under Export Promotion Schemes at notified ports, airports, ICDs and LCSs, while Commissioners of Customs may on a case-by-case basis authorize export/import from non-notified places with suitable arrangements; international courier terminals and notified foreign post offices are included as ports of export for rewards subject to the per-consignment value limit set in the notifications.
