Surrender of customs broker licence requires clearance of dues and absence of pending proceedings before revocation. Surrender of licence is effected by written request to the issuing Principal Commissioner or Commissioner; revocation on such request is permissible only if the licencee has paid all dues payable to the Central Government under the Act, rules or regulations, and no proceedings are pending against the licencee under the Act, rules or regulations.
