Clearance of electronic equipment outside approved premises: conditional duty free use subject to intimation and applicable guidelines. EOUs may install one fax machine outside unit premises with intimation to concerned Customs Central Excise authorities; temporarily remove duty free laptops and video projection systems for authorized employee use; install up to two duty free personal computers in a registered or administrative office subject to applicable guidelines; and permit authorized software unit personnel remote access to EOU/EHTP/STP/BTP facilities via communication links.
