Sums above a monetary threshold may be deposited on behalf of beneficiaries and the authoritys receipt discharges liability. The authority may publish notice, inquire, apportion or allot compensation among dependants in its discretion while recording reasons and hearing dependants. Lump sums for women or disabled persons may be invested for their benefit, and fraudulent payments may be recovered as arrears of land revenue.
