Code on Social Security commencement notification brings specified provisions into force with stated exclusions and later corrigenda. The Central Government appoints 21 November 2025 as the date on which specified provisions of the Code on Social Security, 2020 come into force. The notification covers sections 1 to 14, section 15 and section 16 subject to stated exclusions, sections 17 to 141, section 143 subject to a stated exclusion, sections 144 to 163, and sub-sections (1) to (3) of section 164 subject to stated exclusions. The instrument also records subsequent corrigenda substituting the wording of the affected provisions.
