State funding for social security schemes may be whole, partial, or supplemented by central assistance and corporate contributions. A notified State scheme may be wholly State-funded, partly State-funded with specified beneficiary or employer contributions, or funded from other specified sources including corporate social responsibility; the State may seek financial assistance from the Central Government, which may provide assistance for such periods and on such terms and conditions as it deems fit.
