of <h1>Funding of State Government schemes for social security of unorganised and gig workers and available central financial assistance options</h1> Section provides that State Governmentnotified schemes for social security of unorganised, gig and platform workers may be funded wholly by the State, partly by the State with specified beneficiary or employer contributions, or from any other specified source including corporate social responsibility funds; the State may seek central financial assistance, and the Central Government may grant such assistance for specified periods and on terms and conditions as it deems fit. The provision thus prescribes permissible funding modalities for State schemes and enables conditional central funding support.
