Employees State Insurance Corporation constituted with defined membership and committees to administer social security and medical benefits. Section 5 establishes the Employees State Insurance Corporation as a body corporate to administer Chapter IV, prescribes its membership including Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Central Government appointees, State and Union territory representatives, employer and employee representatives, medical profession representatives, members of Parliament and the Director General ex officio, and empowers the Central Government to constitute a Standing Committee and a Medical Benefit Committee to administer affairs and medical benefits; members' terms and tenure are prescribed and incumbents continue until successors are appointed.
