<h1>Code on Social Security appeals allow challenges to dues and damages; employer appeals require 25% deposit, decision within one year</h1> Appeals lie to the Tribunal against orders on determination and assessment of dues and on levy of damages relating to Chapter III; such appeals must follow prescribed form, time and fees, and employer appeals are barred unless twenty-five percent of the determined amount is deposited with the relevant Social Security Organisation. The Tribunal is required to endeavour to decide appeals within one year of filing. The provision takes effect from the notified commencement date.
