Transfer of compensation funds to foreign countries permitted under rules, with employer consent required for fatal accident sums. The Central Government may, by notification, make rules to transfer to foreign countries money deposited with a competent authority under Chapter VII awarded to persons residing or about to reside abroad, and to provide for receipt, distribution and administration in any State of money deposited under foreign employees' compensation law awarded to persons residing or about to reside in that State. Fatal accident sums deposited under Chapter VII may not be transferred without the consent of the employer after the competent authority has determined distribution under section 81. Once transferred under such rules, the Code's provisions on competent authority distribution cease to apply to those moneys.
